 | Kim - Senior Licensed Veterinary Technician - Kim graduated in 1988 Cum Laude from Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia. She has been employed at Boulevard Veterinary Hospital for over 20 years. As head technician, she supervises and trains medical staff and works in her areas of interest, which include surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry. Originally from Danville, Virginia, she has lived in the Tidewater Area for over 19 years. She is the owner of one "crazy" lab and the mother of two wonderful children. | ||||||
 | Amy - Office Manager and Receptionist - Amy has been working in veterinary hospitals for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Brevard College and High Point University where she earned degrees in Technical Writing and Biology. She worked for Boulevard Veterinary Hospital from 1991 to 1998 before taking time away to raise her two daughters. She returned to us in 2007 as our Office Manager. She has 2 cats, 3 gerbils, and a Corgi named "Sandy" that she adopted from the SPCA. | ||||||
 | Carol - Kennel Supervisor - Carol originates from Massachusetts and moved to the Norfolk area in 1980. She has been working in the animal profession for over 8 years. She currently has four rescued dogs, two cats, and a parakeet named "Tree Top" because that is where she found him. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Assistant Program at Penn Foster College. Carol enjoys taking care of all of our furry visitors. | ||||||
| Kelsey - Kennel Attendant - Kelsey is from the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area and is a graduate of Bayside High School. She has over 2 years of experience caring for animals and has been employed at Boulevard Veterinary Hospital for over a year. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her cat, Montana. | |||||||
 | Joanna - Receptionist - Joanna is a Suffolk native who now lives nearby in Virginia Beach. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a Bachelor's of Science in Biological Anthropology. She has two horses, a dog, and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and horseback riding. | ||||||
 | Mandy - Receptionist - Mandy was born in Oakland, Maryland and grew up in Cherry Point, North Carolina at the Marine Corps Air Base. Her father was a Marine, and Mandy also served her country for over 4 years in the U.S. Navy. She currently lives in Norfolk, Virginia with her Miniature Schnauzer, Chloie, a rescue. Mandy is currently enrolled at TCC in a Nursing program. In her spare time she enjoys mountain biking, going to the beach, attending church, and going to school. | ||||||
Sharon - Veterinary Assistant - Sharon graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. She has been working as a veterinary assistant for over 6 years. In her free time she enjoys playing any and all sports, reading, and making arts and crafts. | |||||||
| Laura - Veterinary Assistant - a Norfolk native, Laura graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with a degree in Applied Sciences. She is currently working toward her Veterinary Technician license from the same institution. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, sleeping, and spending time with her husband Rich, daughter Marley, and 2 dogs, Bailey and Phoebe. | |||||||
